The GPSMAP 8400/8600 supports watching videos in full or split screen from popular devices connected with this 15-foot HDMI cable to the HDCP-compliant HDMI input port. This also allows mobile device connectivity for mirroring or streaming audio and video from HDMI-connected devices, including mobile phones and tablets connected via external adapters or dongles. Audio playback on stereos typically requires NMEA audio cable. You can also output full HD from your chartplotter screen and associated audio to an additional monitor or TV through HDMI .
If using with a computer to gain touch control access, use with a USB cable (sold separately). Connect to DVI-D devices with standard DVI-to-HDMI adapters or cables (sold separately).
